Feminised

Read more Read less

Fed-up of selecting and getting rid male plants? Look no further, as growing feminized strains eliminates this problem entirely and lets you grow your favourite strain with ease. Our large collection of feminized seeds enables growers in the USA and around the world to grow the most famous and well-known strains of cannabis available. In addition to these famous strands, The Cannabis Seedbank can provide growers with some nearly extinct varieties that are rarely available in any other seedbank!

Why use feminized seeds?

Feminzed seeds are really popular amongst small-time private growers and commercial businesses who want to grow marijuana without having the risk of losing their buds to pollination. Male marijuana plants do not produce cannabis and will pollinate the female plants. When this happens, the female plants start to prioritize seed production instead of nice fat buds. In other words, it’s a drag having male plants growing in your fields. If you want to maximize your harvest of buds, it is strongly suggested you use a feminized strain.

Clones or Seeds?

Both options of seeds provide the grower with 100% female plants. The real question is, which one is better? When you take a closer look at Feminized seeds and cannabis clones, the both have their share of advantages. Cloned seeds for example are all the same on a genetic level. This means the plants have a very similar growth, height, structure and other characteristics. However, these seeds are often harder to find and must be obtained from an experienced grower who knows what they are doing. If this is not the case, poorly produced clones can mess up your entire harvest due to having higher contamination risks, pests, fungi and diseases.

Which seeds are the best?

This entirely depends on what you, as the grower, want to do. For example, outdoor growers in colder and more humid areas are often advised to use autoflowering seeds, so they can benefit from early summer times and have no problems with cold and humid falls. In contrast to indoor growers they have completely different choice of strains they can use.
